Standing On The Promises
This timeless classic is one of my favorite hymns.  The truth contained in the message is simple, we stand not on our own ability, but by the power of God who not only created us, but promises us eternal life with Him in heaven through faith in Jesus Christ.

You're My God
A song of praise to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.  He has given us the freedom to choose who and what we will serve.  The choice is ours to make but if you consider all that He has done and is doing, the choice is obvious.

Don't Look Back
Mistakes...wrong turns...regrets...we all have them and they seem to become a part of who we are and sometimes even an excuse as to why we can't move on to a brighter future.  Our loving God gives us this promise, that when we put our faith in Jesus, He will cast our sins as far as the east is from the west.  If God chose to love us just as we are and to send His Son to be a perfect sacrifice for our sins, then we are able to live this day and beyond as a new creation in Christ!  Don't look back, Love is here today.

Not A Day Goes By
When it feels as if the whole world is spinning out of control and you can't find the time to get everything done, just remember this one truth...you are not alone in the chaos.  Even when we get so wrapped up in living that we fail to remember the One who gave us the very breath of life,  He never forgets about us and is always there...no matter what.

Little Things
No matter how small or insignificant you may feel, God can use what you may think of as little and turn it into something grand for His glory.  In John 6:8-9 Andrew says to Jesus "Here is a boy with two small fish and five loaves but what good is that for this large crowd"?  Turns out there was only enough to feed thousands of people and more left over than they started with!  Just remember the mighty oak began as an acorn, but it had to get into the soil.  Put your works into God's hands and He will provide the increase.

Until You Found Me
Even while we are lost, running from and even hiding from God, He continues to search for us and to knock on the door of our heart. He doesn't need us...He wants us.

Blessed Assurance
Jesus is mine!  Now that's something to sing about!

Manger of Love
One small village, two people, a feed trough for animals.  Enter God into the picture and suddenly these ordinary things became significant for the entire world!  You could call this a Christmas song and true it does describe some of the events of that most amazing time when God sent His Son into the world.  But it also highlights the fact that once again God can and does lift up and build up what the world would view as insignificant into an amazing and never to be forgotten picture of His love for all of mankind.

What About Them
It's so hard to understand why so many choose to reject the perfect peace and love that Jesus freely gives.  You know in your heart that He can change their outlook and as believers we long to see everyone come to a knowledge of His love.  Never give up on sharing His love with others and let your heart hurt for the lost.  Pray as if a life depends on it...because it does.  His love can set them free.

I've Seen Jesus (Jarrett's Song)
I wrote this song in honor and memory of Jarrett Lee Lane,  a wonderful young man who was killed during the tragic events at Virginia Tech in April 2007.  I was honored to share it at his funeral and later at a dedication service where a bridge was named in his honor.  Such an incredible Christian man who inspired all who knew him.  The family continues to inspire us all as well and while the song was written as a message to his mother,  she and I both believe that Jarrett would want everyone to be encouraged in the fact that all is well when you place your faith and trust in Jesus.
